In collaboration with sound insulation experts, Karella has developed a smart solution that significantly reduces impact noise. The strength of this sound-dampening system lies in its innovative construction. The backboard consists of a sound-insulating core that is mounted directly behind the dartboard.
This core is made of millions of high-quality fibres that effectively absorb and disperse vibrations. Practical tests have shown that noise levels in adjacent rooms can be reduced by more than 80%. With measured values below 30 dB, this dartboard backboard is ideal for apartments or homes where noise reduction is essential.
With a diameter of 45 cm, the Karella Schallschutz Compact has exactly the same size as a standard tournament dartboard. It functions purely as a backboard and can therefore be easily combined with all common surrounds and dartboard lighting systems.
The sound insulation is fully produced in Germany and meets high quality standards. The material used is Öko-Tex certified, free from harmful substances and manufactured without chemical additives. In addition, the backboard is odourless, dimensionally stable and designed for long-lasting use.
