About Halloween
The Halloween celebration has its origins in various cultures. The name Halloween comes from All Hallows' Eve, the evening before All Saints' Day.
It was believed that from October 31 to November 1, the boundary between the living and the dead blurred. People lit bonfires and wore costumes to ward off wandering spirits. By placing candles and lanterns in their windows, they believed lost souls could find their way home. Halloween is celebrated every year on October 31 and is gaining popularity worldwide. It's still a tradition to dress up for Halloween, with many spooky costumes like ghosts, monsters, or witches. We still place decorations, especially carved pumpkins with eerie faces and candles inside. Home Halloween parties are becoming more common, and besides a great costume, a well-decorated house with spooky details and Halloween-themed food it is also a lot of fun to play games.
